Anyone else feeling on edge? My anxiety dreams leading up to the election were pretty intense. Last night I stayed up most of the night watching CNN. When I finally went to bed after Trump declared victory, I felt depressed and despondent. Thankfully I woke up to better news.
At this moment Biden has 253 electoral votes and Trump only has 213. I’ve never been so happy to see the color blue lighting up the screen! How fitting that two of the projects I’m working on today are both blue.
I’m focusing on easy projects to help me manage stress. The repetition is soothing. I’m donating a few small items for a fundraiser at my son’s preschool. The deadline is approaching so I need to finish by Friday.
I’ll be glad when I can pick up my sweater project again and hopefully finish it before the end of the month. I planned to knit a cardigan for a Christmas present but I’m not sure if I’ll have enough time at the rate I’m going.
Today I finished this cute headband/ ear warmer. I want to make one for myself with my yarn stash. I often wear ponytails so this would work perfectly during the cooler months. I used a chunky wool and acrylic blend donated by my local yarn shop. The pattern was free and it’s really simple to make. You can find instructions here. If you decide to make one too let me know how it turns out!

What projects are you working on at the moment? How are you staying calm throughout the election chaos?
beautiful job, momma 💙

Cute headband! You should be feeling a lot better by now? It looks like Biden only needs Nevada to claim victory. 🙂

Thanks 😊 It took longer than I expected to make it. The next one should be faster. Arizona is still unclear I think? Biden needs both. It’s looking pretty good though!🤞🏽
